A nice place to stay for special occasions or lunch or for dinner.
Top!
TOP!
Excellent, very original location, we were immediately struck by it, excellent value for money, very friendly and helpful staff. They offer services on everything that may be needed, a very helpful and kind professional wedding planner DJ created the entire setup with great elegance and care in every detail including the bouquet which was wonderful, all the staff were exceptional and thanks to this excellent organization we are managed to experience the preparations in complete serenity...Delicious food cooked with commitment, love and experience...we had a fairytale wedding day, we couldn't ask for anything better...everything perfect 😁
Stunning location. Unfortunately, given the winter season, I was not able to appreciate the exterior but the large windows allow you to admire its beauty. Very friendly staff and well cooked food. I was a guest and I can't judge the price. If I have to find fault... it was quite cold in the dining room and very cold in the bathrooms. I definitely recommend it....in spring!
Our perfect day 21.10.2023 🤍
The merchants' warehouse is a real guarantee! We chose this location for our wedding the same day we visited it! Everything struck us: the colours, the structure, the furnishings, the large (but not too large) green space made our wedding contained and intimate just as we wanted!
The harmony that was created immediately with Matteo and Barbara was inevitable thanks to their meticulous professionalism, friendliness, empathy, patience and attention to every detail!
Finally, the menu test... literally kidnapped us! We received compliments from many guests 🥰
The Fondaco dei Mercanti is an excellent location located in the countryside of the Po Valley, but thanks to some details it seemed to be in a location on the hills. For example, the entire structure is surrounded by trees, some of which are centuries-old.
At the back, or rather, in the space descantò for outdoor ceremonies there is a large garden and a small water mill powered by a canal.
All in all the property was really large and luckily the staff managed everything.
Very friendly staff, especially the younger boys and girls, who were very helpful and patient.
The menu chosen by the couple was more than appreciated and the dishes were truly high quality.
We have moved from the tradition of northern cheeses to the most famous traditional dish of those areas, saffron risotto.
Unfortunately, after these beautiful positive aspects, there were also some negative aspects.
Start with the most practical one. While in the women's bathroom there were the classic toilets, in the men's bathroom there were urinals. We ask the question, if I had to do something else, how could I have done it? So from this point of view (since I had the need) I had to stay until the end of the ceremony.
The second negative side was the presence of swarms of flies, which settled everywhere, especially on the food and it was a constant struggle to be able to eat.
Another note should be made on the furnishings. The impeccable interior, typical and traditional, with a note of modernity, perhaps a little too much, because inside the room everything seemed a little naked, bare. Outside, however, super brick but hideous plastic gazebos. With a similar location I would have created wooden gazebos, perhaps even repainted white, or bare wood. An extra note of colour, with some flowers, would have made the atmosphere warmer, more harmonious and suitable for a beautiful wedding full of smiles.
Obviously they are always constructive criticism and above all advice.
Ultimately it was good.
